What we handle
Sizing the subpanel to the load, sizing the feeder correctly, running the feeder in conduit or as SER cable through the appropriate path, installing the subpanel with proper grounding and bonding (neutrals and grounds separated at the subpanel, per code), pulling the permit, and scheduling the inspection.
Questions we get about this service
Do subpanels need their own ground rod?
It depends. A subpanel in a separate structure (like a detached garage) typically needs its own grounding electrode. A subpanel in the same structure as the main runs its equipment ground back to the main.
What size subpanel do I need?
Depends on load. A single EV charger might need a 60-amp subpanel; a detached ADU could need 100 amps. We do the load calc on the estimate.
